ABOUT CAYKOOL

In 2010, two brothers (Glen and Rodrick Wray) came up with the idea of starting a local homemade ice cream truck to serve the community of Grand Cayman. Due to their vision and passion, these young entrepreneurs from Jamaica were ready to start their very own Jamaican ice cream business. The 2 brothers, Glen and Rodrick, were brought up in a way that encouraged them to take on leadership roles by understanding the importance of leadership values, which led to the birth of the CayKool ice cream trucks.

Our Name

As residents of Grand Cayman, Glen and Christine came up with the name CayKool, “Cay” referring to Cayman and “Kool” used as an expression that “everything is alright.” The name CayKool also represents the climate and friendly culture and people of Grand Cayman.

Our Product and Mission

At CayKool, our chief mission is to provide tasty, natural, and fresh homemade ice cream by only using top quality ingredients. Our excellent business plan, hard work, and tastiness in each scoop of ice cream has led to a high demand for our product. The formula of our homede ice cream is made up of natural dairy milk and natural low sugar content.
